Before you start

Here are some things to know before you begin this process.

• This integration requires a connected Shopify store. Install Judge.me in your Shopify store before you connect Judge.me to Mailchimp.

Connect the Judge.me integration

To connect the Judge.me integration to Mailchimp, follow these steps.

1. Click Integrations.
2. Type Judge.me in the search field.
3. Click the Judge.me tile.
4. Click Connect.
5. Review your settings and click Continue.
6. Type the shop domain name for the store you want to use and click Sign In. You may need to enter your Shopify store credentials.
7. Review the access permissions you’ll be granting to the integration and click Connect. You’ll see a message that confirms that your sync is in progress.

Manage your Judge.Me account in Mailchimp

To manage your Judge.me integration from your Mailchimp account, follow these steps.

1. Click Integrations, and then choose Manage.
2. Click the Judge.me tile to open the integration settings.
3. On the Judge.me page, you'll find your integration stats, such as the number of reviews and reviewers for your store.
4. View recommended next actions and click to learn more about what you can do with Mailchimp. Options include setting up automations to send requests to contacts that are eligible to review a product and to send follow-up emails after a contact leaves a review.
5. Click Go to Judge.me to manage settings in your Judge.me account.

Segmentation criteria

Target contacts based on their specific review activity using the segment builder. Filter your audience using the Review submitted criteria, which includes:

• Timeframe When the review was submitted.
• Review type The category of the review.
• Store Which store the review originated from.
• Review score The star rating (e.g., 5-star review).
• Product The specific item reviewed.

Email content block

Add social proof directly to your campaigns using the Feature a review content block. This block pulls specific customer testimonials from your Judge.me data into your email layout to build trust.

To feature a review in your email, follow these steps.

1. Drag the Feature a review content block into your email layout.
2. In the Feature a review window, click the Store drop-down and choose your store.
3. Use the search bar or filters to find the review you want to feature.
4. Select the review, then click Add review.
5. In the content block settings, toggle to show or hide the Review headline, Numeric rating value, Customer name, or to Truncate long reviews.

Contact activity

View individual customer engagement in the contact profile page, which displays review events, including the star rating and the specific product reviewed.

Disconnect Judge.me integration in Mailchimp

To disconnect Judge.me from your Mailchimp account, follow these steps in your Mailchimp account.

1. Click Integrations, and then choose Manage.
2. Click the drop-down arrow for Judge.me, then choose Disconnect.
3. To confirm, click Disconnect.
4. A message will appear that will confirm that you’ve disconnected Judge.me from your Mailchimp account. Click Continue.
